GPS is ideally located among the lush green paddy fields of Karatagi, away from all pollution. It has a spacious modern building artistically designed with the best facilities needed to support quality learning. The pre-primary and primary wing is colourful, supportive, and stimulating. It is equipped with state of art computer and science labs, a library filled with interesting childrens books to instigate information gathering and learning process.

Our classrooms are spacious and conducive for teaching & learning. Along with traditional teaching equipment to leverage technology, selected classrooms are equipped with digital boards that help teachers deliver innovative and tech-driven learning experiences for our students.

Composite Science & Mathematics Lab

Science and Mathematics education becomes more interesting when students are actively engaged in the teaching-learning process. Therefore, to provide hands-on learning experiences for our students, the school has fully equipped science and mathematics laboratories that aid in the better understanding and application of the concepts learnt.

Computer Lab

Computer education is mandatory for all students from Grade 1 to 8. Students learn age-appropriate computer skills as part of their curriculum. These skills are put into practice during the practical lessons held in the computer lab, which has 25 computers with a student-computer ratio of 1:1.

ATL Lab

ATL is an activity conducted under the umbrella mission named ‘Atal Innovation Mission’ (AIM). AIM is the Indian Government’s flagship program to foster a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation.

• The chief objective of establishing ATLs is to promote curiosity, imagination, and creativity in the minds of school-going children.
• Other goals of ATL lab include inculcating in children a design mindset, adaptive learning, computational thinking, physical computing, etc.

LIBRARY

Weekly library periods are scheduled in the timetable to make time for the students to develop their reading habits. Furthermore, to cater to the reading needs of our students & teachers, the school has a well-stocked library with thousands of age-appropriate books for the students and resource materials for the teachers.

SMART CLASSES

Smart class is a rapidly transforming the way teachers teach and students learn in schools with innovative and meaningful use of technology. Powered by the world's largest repository of digital content mapped to Indian School Curriculum, digital class brings in technology right next to the blackboard for teachers in the classrooms. Students learn difficult and abstract curriculum concepts watching highly engaging visuals and animations. This makes learning an enjoyable experience for students while improving their overall academic performance in school. Digital class also enables teachers to instantly assess and evaluate the learning achieved by their students in class with an innovative assessment technology.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

School assemblies are an integral part of the growth and orientation of the students. They play a pivotal role in the cultivation and sustenance of values; preparing the child to appropriate crucial roles in the future. In keeping with the above said, the school has formatted two different assemblies for students.

SPORTS GROUND

Our sports infrastructure has facilities for indoor and outdoor games. Along with equipment for several indoor games, the school has a well-laid volleyball, throw ball, tennicoite, Kho-Kho and jumping pits for long jump and high jump.

Transportation

The school has a fleet of modern buses that provide comfortable transportation facilities to staff and students. A care taker looks after the comfort of all the children during travel.
